4-WEEK TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR REPRESENTATIVES FACULTY/DEPARTMENT/UNIT ON WEBSITE MAINTENANCE & MANAGEMENT.

As part of the ongoing efforts by the LAUTECH ICT Centre to develop and maintain robust websites for the Institution, I, therefore, invite representatives of faculties/departments/units to a 4-week training programme on Website Maintenance and Management organized by LAUTECH ICT Centre.

Date: 5th December, 2022 - 6th January, 2023
Mode: Virtual/Face-to-Face (Blended)

Mode of training
The training programme will be delivered in asynchronous mode online via LAUTECH Information and Communication Technology (LICT) Learning Management System: https://elearn.lautech.edu.ng/lict

The face-to-face sessions will hold in the New ICT Centre.

The training is structured weekly and participants are expected to use between 4-6 hours per week on the activities and tasks on the Virtual Learning Environment to achieve the outcome of the training programme.

Outcome of the training

At the end of the training, the participants will be able to:

  • Understand the standards and implementation guidelines for university websites.
  • Create and edit information on their faculty/department/unit  respective websites
  •  Add and update staff profile on their faculty/department/unit respective websites and LAUTECH main website
  • Have a standard and functional website for his/her faculty/department/unit

Registration
Heads of faculty/department/unit should fill the form below to nominate 2 members of their faculty/department/unit for the training before 2nd of December, 2022


Certificate
Certificates in Website Maintenance and Management will be issued to participants who completed all the activities and can CLAIM a fully functional website for his/her faculty/department/unit at the end of the training.
